Hope Valley has a tradition of delivering excellent ceremonies and masonic ritual with many members delivering long pieces of the ceremony entirely from memory. To help members practice and perfect them we hold what is known as a ‘Lodge of Instruction’ (LoI) usually on the second Tuesday of each month except July, August, September and December.
These meetings start at 7.00pm and are very informal and the dress code is definitely ‘informal and casual’.
They are open to members of other lodges to attend and practice their own ritual.
It’s worth noting that whilst all Freemasons’ Lodges in England and Wales work in the same way, their individual rituals whilst conforming to the same principles do differ in their detail.
